Look alike or steal the style. Where does it all start? Something becomes a trend. Fashion bloggers for example were mixing and matching the Kenzo sweaters like crazy during the fashion week. I became obsessed with this sweater too, the only disappoint was the price-tag: 300 euro.
From then the replica's were born. Street-style became jungle-style. But hey! Replica of Kenzo? Isn't Kenzo a replica itself? I spotted this tiger in mosaic at the Villa Romana last week in Sicily and made me immediately think of the tiger in cotton..
Are we all replica's or am I going too deep now? Like which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Look alike of steal the style. Waar komt het toch vandaan? Er ontstaat een trend. Tijdens de fashion week mix-te en match-te de mode bloggers er vrolijk op los met deze simpele maar schreeuwende sweater. Binnen no time was ik verkocht. Figuurlijk dan. 300 euro vind ik toch net iets te veel voor een trui.
De Kenzo Kopie was geboren en street-style werd jungle-style. Maar hey! Kopie van Kenzo? Is Kenzo zelf niet een kopie? Vorige week -in Sicilie / Villa Romana - spotte ik z'n voorganger. Liggend in mozaiek vorm.
Zijn we allemaal een kopie van een kopie of ga ik nu de 'wat was er het eerst, de kip of het ei' kant op?
